Miracles and Mysteries
We prayed eight years for this project, which we commissioned our friends,
Ken Medema and Bruce Greer, to create for us. No combination but the brilliance
of Medema lyrics and Greer music could better capture the essence of the
seven miracles described in John's gospel. These are quite possibly some
of the best theatrical/gospel/art songs ever written. This album features
a lush chamber orchestra behind A Cross Between's vocals for
each of the seven "miracles" and contemplative violin/viola interludes.
We also perform this music in concert as a dramatic worship event that
includes scripture and poetry readings involving the audience!
